Monitoring backups

All backups can be monitored from the dashboard.
To see your dashboard, simply login to your mydata portal

The dashboard provides you with a visual overview of files and data backed up, and waiting to be backed up, bandwidth and storage usage, and account summaries.

There’s also an Alerts centre which displays data related to inactive systems and system errors.

At the bottom of the screen is your backup summary
The backup summary provides you with details related to each device that’s part of your backups.
The backup summary section also allows you to search for a specific users, device, account and sort your accounts based on current status of devices.

Your machines are listed in sequential order by name.
Each device has a corresponding icon to the left of the name denoting the device type.
A small status symbol is overlayed on the device icon.

A green check mark status symbols indicates normal operation with no issues,
An orange caution sign indicates errors
A yellow caution sign indicates inactivity – where no backups are occurring.

To take action on a device, simply click the manage button to the right of the screen.
